COMPANY HISTORY
Griffin Companies has taken a proactive and responsible approach to construction and demolition debris management. Operating six Construction and Demolition (C&D) Reclamation Centers in North and South Carolina, and with over 10 years experience, we take pride in offering communities environmentally responsible debris disposal. In addition to traditional C&D disposal, each facility recycles all inert debris such as concrete, brick and block; that is then crushed for onsite use.
All C&D reclamation centers are heavily regulated by state and local authorities. Griffin Companies' centers are repeatedly recognized for their superior safety and compliance records. Properly operated C&D reclamation centers offer a safe and necessary means for debris disposal. Our certified facilities also help reduce the instances of improper debris disposal in unregulated areas. It is important to note that our C&D reclamation centers accept only approved materials and do not accept any liquids or hazardous materials.

ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS
We can accept most debris from new construction and demolition sites. Please call when you are unsure.
The following is a partial list of acceptable materials:

EXPERIENCED OPERATORS
We operate three C&D facilities in North Carolina and three facilities in South Carolina. We are awaiting final approval for a new operation in York County. Please check our website for updates.

C&D RECLAMATION AND RECYCLING LOCATIONS
Griffin Companies has several disposal options to meet your needs. In addition to our traditional C&D reclamation centers, Griffin Brothers operates a Class 1 Industrial Landfill in Kershaw, SC. This facility is approved to receive industrial waste, friable asbestos and non-friable asbestos. These materials do require pre-approval before acceptance into our landfill.
Griffin Companies also operates a C&D Recycling Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. This facility recycles over 75 percent of material entering the site, outsourcing it for re-use. Two of our reclamation centers also operate yard waste recycling programs where one hundred percent of the land clearing debris and clean wood products entering the facility are recycled.
